Deborah and Pesu: How Sponsorship Can Change a Child’s Life

Deborah and Pesu are two orphan children from the Makoko Waterfront area in Lagos, Nigeria. They lost their parents at a very young age and were left to fend for themselves in a harsh environment. In pursuit of child rights, on March 26, 2022, a team from Life Changers Foundation Children’s Home embarked on an outreach program in Sango-Ota, Ogun State Nigeria to provide food for street children, who have the right to an adequate standard of living according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child. August 4th 2022   Mrs. Sheri Adegbesan, the founder of Life Changers Foundation (LCF), has expressed her desire to reward the children of Makoko who have persevered against all odds to acquire basic education.
